IMPORTANT NOTICES

Registration of new cadets can occur at anytime during the training year. Please bring the cadet's provincial health card and birth certificate.
​
​
TIMINGS- On Tuesday nights, adult staff will be at the building by 6:15 pm. Cadets fall in approx. 6:40. Classes start at 7. Closing parade is at 9:05pm. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend, to hear the announcements. Cadets arriving after attendance has been taken should check in with Admin to make sure they are marked as present.

Attendance - If you are not able to attend cadets, please call the office so that you may be marked as excused (902-678-7930 ext 2250). You may call at any time and leave a message. Remember to speak clearly, state your name and the reason you are not able to attend.
​
Winter Dress - Levels 1, 2 and 3 will wear their light blue turtleneck sweater, tunic, trousers, boots, belt and wedge. Levels 4 and 5 will wear their light blue button up shirt with necktie, tunic, trousers, boots, belt and wedge.
Summer Dress - Levels 1, 2 and 3 will wear their dark blue t-shirt, trousers, boots, belt and wedge. Levels 4 and 5 will wear their light blue button up shirt (open neck), trousers, boots, belt and wedge.
All cadets may wear their full parka or just the inner or outer, depending upon the weather.

Badge Placement

WO1 and WO2
Worn centred on both sleeves with the bottom of the badge 9 cm above the top of the cuff or if a third row of Summer Courses Qualification Badges is worn, 1 cm above the third row badge
FSgt, Sgt, FCpl, Cpl, LAC
Worn centred on both sleeves, mid-way between the elbow and the shoulder upper seam
Training Level Badges
Centred on the left sleeve of the jacket, the bottom of the badge immediately above the top of the cuff. If a Cadet Fitness Assessment Incentive Level Badge, a Marksmanship Classification Program Badge and/or a Glider Pilot Familiarization Badge is worn, the Sqn Proficiency Level Badge is worn 1 cm above the Cadet Fitness Assessment Incentive Level, Marksmanship Classification Program and/or Glider Pilot Familiarization Badge(s). Only the most senior badge is worn
Summer Course Qualification Badge
Summer Course Qualification Badges shall be worn on the right sleeve in the order that they are awarded. The first badge is centred immediately above the cuff of the uniform jacket. The second badge awarded is placed immediately to the right of the first badge, to the front of the sleeve. The third is placed immediately to the left of the first badge, to the rear of the sleeve. The fourth, fifth and sixth badges are placed immediately above badges one, two and three forming a second row of badges and they are placed in the same order as the first row. If a seventh badge is awarded, it shall be placed immediately over the fourth badge. A maximum of seven Summer Courses Qualification Badges may be worn
Fitness and Marksmanship Level Badges
Centred on the left sleeve. The bottom of the badge to be positioned immediately above the top of the cuff. Only the badge for the highest level attained shall be worn
The Cadet Fitness Assessment Incentive Level Badge, the Marksmanship Classification Program Badge and also the Glider Pilot Familiarization Badge shall be worn on the left sleeve in the order that they are awarded. The first badge awarded is centred immediately above the cuff of the uniform jacket. The second badge awarded is placed immediately to the left of the first badge, to the front of the sleeve. The third badge awarded is placed immediately to the right of the first badge, to the rear of the sleeve.
First Aid Badges
To be centred on the right sleeve, the bottom of the badge 1 cm above the top of the cuff. If Summer Courses Qualification Badges are worn, the First Aid Badge shall be centred on the right sleeve, the bottom of the badge 1 cm above the Summer Courses Qualification Badges
For WO1 and WO2, the badge is worn on the right sleeve, centred between the elbow and the shoulder upper seam
If both badges have been awarded, only the Standard First Aid badge shall be worn
Marksmanship, Biathlon, Effective Speaking Pins
The Zone, Provincial or National Championship Pin (Marksmanship, Biathlon, Effective Speaking) shall be worn centered on the left breast pocket, equidistant between the lower seam and the lower edge of the jacket pocket flap
Only one Marksmanship/Biathlon/Effective Speaking Championship Series Pin is permitted on the uniform indicating the highest level attained by the cadet
This pin is worn on the jacket only
When a Canadian Cadet Movement Marksmanship Championship Series Pin is worn with a Canadian Cadet Movement Biathlon Championship Series Pin or an Air Cadet League of Canada Effective Speaking Competition Pin, the two pins shall be worn centred on the left breast pocket equidistant between the lower seam and the lower edge of the jacket pocket flap, with 0.5 cm between the two pins. The Canadian Cadet Movement Marksmanship Championship Series Pin shall be worn in the top position, if worn with the Canadian Cadet Movement Biathlon Championship Series Pin, or in the bottom position if worn with the Air Cadet League of Canada Effective Speaking Competition Pin.
If a cadet is the recipient of an Air Cadet League of Canada Effective Speaking Competition Pin, a Canadian Cadet Movement Marksmanship Championship Series Pin and also a Canadian Cadet Movement Biathlon Championship
